While Rio Casino in Las Vegas is on sale and should host WSOP for the last time at this year's edition, WSOP Europe might also relocate, no later than the next season.                            
According to an Italian daily online, the WSOPE could walk off "The Empire" casino, theatre of the first three editions.                                      Although very popular and accessible, "The Empire" remains quite a small place. On that account, the hypothesis of a relocation would have been mentioned in order to attract a larger number of participants. Thus, it is rumoured that the British capital would be replaced by Nottingham, in the East Midlands region.
It must be said that the city has a historical advantage: Dusk Till Dawn, known as the largest card room in Europe and certainly one of the largest in the world.                                                                      
First club to be made legal in Britain, Dusk Till Dawn enjoys great reputation and it prides itself on great expertise in terms of tournaments organization. Host of major events as the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour, the gaming arena of Nottingham hosted in May UKIPT Pokerstars.
According to another Italian source, it is possible for WSOPE to be relocated to Malta, where the climate is still pleasant at this time of year. Even if this appears to be very attractive, it seems quite unlikely.  
Although Harrah's, WSOP organizer and owner of the Casino At the Empire could stay on Leicester Square rather than migrate to Nottingham where it should pay rent, the move remains possible.
 However, London remains one of the most attractive capitals in the world in terms of gambling, especially when considering that the EPT will kick off there in the wake of WSOP Europe.                  
Whatever happens with the WSOPE location, London will always be an important landmark of poker. In August, the city will receive many guests, as there will be organized a WPT event for the first time.
